Sinn Féin's birthday bash

Dublin's City West Hotel is to host Sinn Féin's 100th birthday dinner dance on Saturday 5 November. According to Céad Bliain Director Caitríona Ruane: "It promises to be a great night. It is an event that republicans should make an effort to attend. Given that this is a one-off 100th birthday bash, it should not be missed. All republicans are welcome."

Presentations will be made to republican honourees from the five Sinn Féin Cúige regions and one international honouree. A brochure featuring the nominees is in production.

Party President Gerry Adams MP will deliver the main address focusing on Sinn Féin's 100 years, the current context of the republican struggle and a vision of the future.

The evening's programme of events includes a five-course meal followed by music, song, dance and entertainment. Those performing include the Irish Sopranos, Gaelforce, the James Peake Experience Dance Band and a DJ to round off the entertainment.
