Other NewsCorrectionLast week's edition of An Phoblacht stated that trophies being presented by the GAA to teams during Féile an Phobail were named in honour of two IRA Volunteers. This is incorrect. While one of the trophies is named after hunger-striker and IRA Volunteer Kieran Doherty TD, the other trophy is named after Terry Enright Jr who was a community worker in West Belfast assasinated in an attack by unionist paramiltaries on 10 January 1998. He was not a member of the IRA. Articles may not be reproduced without the consent of An Phoblacht. For further information, please contact |
