Fianna Fáil in no position to talk about political reform after 20 years in power

Cowen and Martin had two decades to bring in political reform

SINN FÉIN deputy leader Mary Lou McDonald says Fianna Fáil has been in power for 20 of the last 22 years so is in no position to talk about political reform.

Speaking today after Fianna Fáil launched its election manifesto, Mary Lou said:

Mícheál Martin’s attempt to rebrand Fianna Fáil as some sort of reformed progressive party is cutting no ice with the electorate.

Fianna Fáil been in office for 20 of the last 22 years so Fianna Fáil is in no position to talk about political reform.

They had plenty of time for reform but they never bothered.
