US state of Louisiana joins calls for Irish unity
LOUISIANA has become the eighth US state to pass a resolution in support of Irish reunification and “to urge and request” the United States Government to immediately take all appropriate steps to assist in the unification of Ireland”.
Louisiana joins the states of Florida, California, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania as well as 15 cities and a number of municipalities and counties.
