Gerry Adams appeals for information on victims secretly buried by the IRA
SINN FÉIN President Gerry Adams TD has expressed his support for the families of those whose loved ones were killed and secretly buried by the IRA.
Teachta Adams said:
“I want to appeal again for anyone with any information on those killed and secretly buried by the IRA to bring that information forward to the families, the Commission [Independent Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains] or myself.
“The IRA acknowledged that it was responsible for 13 of the people who were killed and secretly buried during the conflict. It apologised to the families for the grief it caused.”
