Loyalists and neo-Nazis threaten anti-racist rally in Liverpool

The Infidels have a record of drink-fuelled attacks on immigrant families, trade unionists and progressives

A SPLINTER GROUP from the far-right street thugs of the English Defence League is trying to rally neo-Nazis and loyalists to stage a counter-demonstration against the annual James Larkin Society march in Liverpool on Saturday 21st July.

The James Larkin Society event’s slogan is ‘Working-Class Unity Against Racism & Fascism’.

InfidelsleaderSnowyShawThe North West Infidels, a more openly racist breakaway from the EDL, has a record of drink-fuelled attacks on immigrant families, trade unionists and progressives.

The Infidels’ leader is described by anti-fascist campaign group Hope Not Hate as the “vile racist, Jew-hating Islamophobe” John ‘Snowy’ Shaw (right).

A regular visitor to the Six Counties, the swaggering Shaw, from Knaresborough, is a member of a loyalist flute band in Yorkshire.
