Economic growth crucial

Northern Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and Junior Minister Gerry Kelly were in Dublin on Monday for a meeting with Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Government Chief Whip Tom Kitt to discuss economic development in the Six Counties. McGuinness, commenting, said the North is entering a much more optimistic era for economic development and said a crucial period lies ahead in showing the people of the Six Counties that the political system can help deliver greater prosperity.
