Get out and use your vote

Martin McGuinness 1 - The People’s President

When is polling day?

On Thursday 27th October

When and where can I vote?

From 7am to 10pm on Thursday 27th October at a polling station near you.
You will receive a polling card closer to election time giving you exact details of where you can vote.
Alternatively, you can check online at www.checktheregister.ie. Just input your name and address and you will get details of your local polling station. Remember you DO NOT need a polling card to vote. (NOTE if you are added to the supplementary register you may not recieve a polling card)

What if I’m not on the register?

Go to www.checktheregister.ie and click on the ‘application forms’ tab in the top right corner. This will allow you to print out a form that you can fill out to get on the supplementary register.
To get on the supplementary register and to be eligible to vote in the Presidential election you must fill out a RFA2 form. This form must by signed by a Garda and returned to the franchise section of your local county council by 10th October. Alternatively, these forms will be available from your nearest Garda station.

Who is eligible to vote?
Who Can Vote?

Every citizen of Ireland who is at least 18 years of age and whose name is entered in the register of electors for a constituency is entitled to vote in that constituency.

You can help change Ireland
FOR 40 years, Martin McGuinness has worked for equality, fairness and peace in this country.
He is one of the architects of the Irish Peace Process. As Education Minister and then deputy First Minister in the Northern Executive, he has reached out to the unionist community while tackling poverty and inequality.
Ireland is in crisis. Not just an economic crisis but one where some of the old certainties and institutions are crumbling. We need leadership.
Your donation will help elect a man who has demonstrated his ability to lead and his vision — a man who saw a chance for peace when others did not.
Your generosity can change this country, can build a New Republic that belongs to no political party or special interest but is the shared property of us all.
Help elect a President for all the people of Ireland.
Help elect Martin McGuinness.
Help change Ireland.
