Morgan criticises An Post mismanagement

The blundering around SDS is not the only aspect of An Post mismanagement in recent weeks. Arthur Morgan, Sinn Féin TD for Louth, has been speaking in support of An Post workers from Drogheda. Morgan has asked that the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, Dermot Ahern, urgently investigate serious concerns regarding mismanagement at An Post. Free article
Aer Lingus abandons cargo business

Apart from ignoring the views of their own workers, Aer Lingus management have taken another drastic step in the needless downsizing of the company. The airline is to stop all shorthaul cargo services from Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports in 2005. Free article

Senior loyalists have threatened further 'protests' following the Parades Commission ruling which banned Apprentice Boys from parading past nationalist Ardoyne last week. Apprentice Boys from the Ligoniel Walkers Club wanted to march in Ardoyne before boarding coaches to take them to the main Apprentice Boys parade in Derry. Free article

Shocking PSNI stop and search figures
