Sinn Féin spokesperson on Environment and Local Government, Arthur Morgan, has welcomed the findings of a survey conducted by the Simon Communities which found that 71% of the electorate endorsed the right to housing to be enshrined in the 26-County Constitution. Free article

Worry for future of Temple Street

Sinn Féin Councillor Nicky Kehoe has called on Taoiseach Bertie Ahern to come clean on the future of Temple Street Hospital. He was speaking following a recent meeting with paediatric surgeons, who voiced their concern at the threatened closure of specialist surgery services within the hospital. Free article
McGuinness to speak at St James' function
