Sinn Féin Assembly member for North Antrim Daithí McKay has been informed by the PSNI that threats have been issued against himself and other Sinn Féin elected representatives in the North Antrim area by criminals based in the Dunclug area of Ballymena.

Joe Hughes -100 years young

Sinn Féin MP for Mid-Ulster Martin McGuinness expressed best wishes this week to Joe Hughes, father of IRA Hunger Striker Francis, on his 100th birthday. McGuinness who visited Joe on Wednesday on his birthday said that Joe Hughes was a fine Irishman who in the difficult months during the Hunger Strike stood shoulder to shoulder with his son.

Call for resolution of Donegal apprentice problems

CHAIRPERSON of Sinn Féin in Donegal, Mick Quinn has called on the Irish Government to be "creative and imaginative" in trying to resolve the major problems facing apprentices who are attempting to complete construction related apprenticeships in the face of the downturn in the construction sector.
