Race hate figures show 80% rise

Commenting after it was revealed that race hate crimes have increased by 80% in the past year, South Belfast Sinn Féin Assembly Alex Maskey says decisive action is required. "Race hate crime is now a major issue which needs to be addressed," he said. "A clear message must be sent out by politicians and communities that there is no tolerance for this type of activity.
