Galway City Mayor, Willie Burke put forward a motion at the last County Council meetings that all councillors should donate €1,000 from the money they are allocated annually for conference purposes to the victims of the Tsunami in Sri Lanka. Dublin Sinn Féin AGM Saturday

Republican activists from all over Dublin will gather for the Annual General Meeting of Sinn Féin Átha Cliath in the Royal Dublin Hotel at 12pm this Saturday. Poleglass drug find endangers children

The weekend discovery of up to £500 of cocaine in a hedge at Laurelbank in Poleglass, West Belfast, has led Sinn Féin representatives Angela Nelson and Veronica Willis to slam the pusher who "dumped these drugs in an area where a child could have found them and been put in danger". Free article
