Adams and Ó Caoláin in Cavan/Monaghan tour

Monaghan General Hospital was the first port of call in Tuesday's visit to Counties Monaghan and Cavan by Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams. Accompanied by his party's TD and general election candidate Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin, Gerry Adams paid an hour-long visit to Monaghan Hospital. He met patients and staff in the female and male medical wards. Free article

McGuinness delighted with Drogheda welcome

Sinn Féin Education Minister Martin McGuinness paid a visit to Drogheda on Thursday last. He had earlier attended a meeting of the North/South Ministerial Council in Armagh, where it was announced that a new cross-border "centre of excellence" for children and young people with autism was to be jointly funded by Ireland's two Education Ministers in Middletown, Co Armagh.
