Kevin Barry Commemoration

On Sunday, 4 November, in brilliant sunshine, a large crowd turned out in Tralee to honour Kevin Barry who was executed on 1 November 1920 at the tender age of 18. The crowd, led by the Ballyseedy Martyrs' Band, marched from the Sinn Fein Office at Moyderwell Corner to the young patriot's monument at Kevin Barry's Villas. The commemoration was chaired by Cllr Cathal Foley. Free article
