SINN FÉIN’S Northern Assembly team has congratulated their party comrade, North Antrim MLA Daithí McKay on winning Slugger O’Toole’s ‘up and coming politician’ award in Belfast on Tuesday night.
A party spokesperson said,
“Daithí’s hard work in the Assembly, on the Policing Board and in his own constituency is clear for all to see, and this recognition from Slugger’s bloggers comes as no real surprise to those of us who know Daithí and his commitment to his political activism.
This award shows that the bloggers consider Daithí to be one to watch for the future and we in Sinn Féin feel the same.
