MacManus back on the campaign trail

Councillor Seán Mac Manus, the Sinn Féin candidate for Sligo/North Leitrim, was discharged from Sligo General Hospital on Monday following treatment for a minor heart attack. Mac Manus expressed gratitude to hospital staff for their professionalism and empathy during his treatment.
Eager to rejoin the election campaign, Mac Manus warned that he is obliged to pace himself and will not be able to personally canvass as many areas as originally planned. He expressed full confidence in his enthusiastic electoral team, led by his son Councillor Chris Mac Manus, to successfully deliver the Sinn Féin message throughout Sligo and North Leitrim.
