Support for Colombia Three in Canada

Braving a late winter storm on Saturday night, 8 March, some 150 poeple in Montreal gathered for a social-political evening celebrating International Women's Day. Delegates from Central and South American struggles read messages of solidarity. Joyce Carson, a member of the Coalition for Peace in Ireland, spoke about the struggle of women in Ireland. She also made a strong appeal for the support of the Colombia 3.

Most of the delegates took the time to sign letters to the President of Colombia and the Colombian Embassy in Canada supporting the three Irishmen.
