Two new senators for Sinn Féin congratulated by Martin McGuinness

Sinn Féin Seanad candidates Trevor Ó Clochartaigh, Kathryn Reilly, David Cullinane and Eoin Ó Broin

SINN FEIN MP for Mid-Ulster Martin McGuinness has congratulated the party’s new Seanad members, Trevor Ó Clochartaigh from Galway and Daivd Culinane from Waterford.

Martin McGuinness said:

The election of Trevor and David to the Seanad brings our Oireactas representation to 16. It is a major advance on our previous strength in Leinster House. We now have significant representation in every part of Ireland.

Others talk about a united Ireland or go on photo ops to Dublin; Sinn Féin, on the other hand, provide real and effective leadership across this country. People can see an all-Ireland and united Ireland political strategy that is working and working well.

On May 5th, voters in this part of Ireland will have the opportunity to have their say both on the big national issues and on local economic and social matters.

I have spent the past few weeks canvassing extensively across the North and people see the leadership being provided by Sinn Féin and the stability that we have delivered over the past four years.
