Larne teacher and pupil attacked

A number of loyalists entered the grounds of St Comgall's school in Larne, County Antrim, last Friday 15 March and attacked a pupil and teacher.

Loyalists brandishing a hammer and wooden posts attacked the teacher and pupil in the school yard as school was breaking up for the day.

None of the those injured suffered serious injuries but the attack again demonstrates the vulnerability of Catholics living in this vulnerable town.

According to reports, the school called the RUC/PSNI four times before they responded to the call.
