Irish Campaigner Arrested in London
Irish civil rights campaign worker and Mayo man, Dominic Cosgrove, claimed this week that he has been the victim of a British state set up.
Dominic was walking down Camden high street near his home when he was approached by a number of police officers this week. He was then handcuffed and taken to Albany street station, where a knife was produced, which police claimed they found in his pocket.
Dominic had just parted company with a member of the Cavan Comhairle Ceantair of Sinn Féin, who was visiting London for the week-end and who he believes was probably under surveillance during his time in London.
Cosgrove has been charged with possession of a bladed-knife. His case is pending.
