Maskey in Dublin West

"Radical change is needed in Dublin," was the message from Belfast Sinn Féin Assembly member Alex Maskey to a packed meeting of Sinn Féin activists in the Dublin West constituency on Sunday, 25 November.

"People have been let down by the establishment parties in the 26 Counties," Maskey said. "Day in, day out, we see and hear what has been going on at the various tribunals. What we are also seeing and hearing is that politicans from these same establishment parties are out of touch with the people they are supposed to be representing."

Thanking Maskey for attending, Sinn Féin's Dublin West representative, Mary Lou McDonald, said: "The need for change is visible for all to see. Sinn Féin can deliver that change by listening to and working for the people, as our track record in the Six Counties has proven."
