ELECT EOIN Ó BROIN TO THE SEANAD

EOIN Ó BROIN has launched his campaign for the NUI Seanad election campaign with an appeal to NUI graduates to support him as a progressive voice committed to political reform and continuing the campaign against the Consensus for Cuts.

Announcing his bid and a new campaign website, Eoin says:

If elected I will use the Seanad as a platform for real social, economic and political change.

During the general election campaign, like other Sinn Féin candidates, I argued for a better, fairer way to create employment, restore the public finances and fix the banks.

I also campaigned for investment in public services and in support of real measures to tackle inequality and promote political, social and economic equality.

Now I am seeking election to the Seanad to continue campaigning for real political, social and economic change.

If elected to the Seanad I will be a voice for:-

Political Reform – root and branch reform of our political and electoral system;

Equality – addressing class, gender and racial inequalities in society;

Economic Alternatives –investment in jobs and sustainable economic growth;

Social Alternatives – investment in universal public services, including health, education and childcare;

Environmental Alternatives – promoting strong climate change legislation

Real Tax Reform – a modern tax system that is fair and sustainable;

Promotion of Irish – supporting the retention of compulsory Irish in our schools

A United Ireland – promoting all-Ireland development and reunification.

Sinn Féin stands up for ordinary people

PEOPLE are looking for a new kind of politics.

Sinn Féin was the only party to oppose the Lisbon Treaty, pointing out the dangers for our sovereignty.

-          Sinn Féin exposed the Taoiseach’s contacts with leading people in Anglo Irish Bank.

-          Sinn Féin is the only party not to sign up to the Fianna Fáil/Green Party/Fine Gael Consensus for Cuts and EU/IMF bank bail-out.

-          Sinn Féin TDs and Senators only take home the average industrial wage

Reclaim the Republic

Sinn Féin is an Irish republican party. We are a United Ireland party. We believe in the sovereignty, independence and freedom of the Irish people.  We have set out our road map to Irish unity and are committed to bringing about an Ireland truly based on the Proclamation.
