Derry solicitor challenges RUC on Omagh
Derry Solicitor Des Doherty, acting for Laurence Rush, whose wife Libby was killed in the Omagh bomb, has called on the RUC to answer claims that it had prior knowledge of the Real IRA attack.
Doherty made his call after an alleged former RUC informant known as `Kevin Fulton' said he had informed his RUC handler that ``something big'' was about to happen. Fulton also claims that he gave sufficient detail about at least one of those involved and that three months after the bomb he told the RUC man in charge of the investigation, Eric Anderson, the whereabouts of a Real IRA bomb factory.
