Details of Cork councillor found in Antrim death list
Details of Cork Sinn Féin Councillor Kieran McCarthy have been found in a house in North Antrim, it was revealed on Monday.
Gardaí visited McCarthy's house to inform him of his appearance on the loyalist death list, which was found during an RUC raid.
McCarthy said he is perplexed as to how loyalists could have got their hands on such information, though he has suspicions that it may have been supplied by the RUC.
While he is concerned at the development, McCarthy said that it would not deter him ``in the slightest'' from continuing his work. ``Loyalists have been involved in many attempts this year to intimidate republicans and nationalists. Their efforts will fail to deter us from our work. That work, for a just and lasting peace, is unstoppable.''
