Loyalist attack on family
Dara O'Hagan, Sinn Fein's Assembly member for Upper Bann, has slammed the attack on a Lurgan family by a loyalist mob.
The incident happened on Thursday 25 June, after Don Toman and his son and daughter had left the party's election centre where he was a worker. All three received treatment in Craigavon hospital following the assault. O'Hagan said ``This was a totally unprovoked and sectarian assault on a defenceless family shopping.'' The attack followed the harassment of the party's local director of elections by the RIR.
