Comhbhrón

FARRELL, Mairéad. I gcuimhne ár gcomrádaí Mairéad Farrell, proudly remembered by Galway City East Sinn Féin on her 29th anniversary 6 March 1988 and her 60th birthday. “Man’s dearest possession is life. It is given to him but once, and he must live it so as to feel no torturing regrets for wasted years, never know the burning shame of a mean and petty past; so live that, dying, he might say: all my life, all my strength were given to the finest cause in all the world – the fight for the liberation of mankind” – Nikolai Ostrovsky.

McCOURT. Deepest sympathy to the family of Frank McCourt of Lisdrumgormley, Clontibret, Monaghan, a member of the Francis Green Sinn Féin Cumann, and thoughts particularly Frank’s son Brendan, who is well known in Kinsale. From Noel Harrington and Donnacha De Barra Sinn Féin Cumann, Kinsale.

McGIVERN. The Halpenny, Worthington, Watters Sinn Fein Cumann in Dundalk deeply regrets the death of Bridie McGivern, mother of our friend and comrade Paddy. Condolences to all the family.

TUITE. Deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Kathleen Tuite, who passed away recently. From the Halpenny, Worthington, Watters Sinn Féin Cumann in Dundalk.
