Film — The Howth Gun-Running of 1914

'THE LANDING of the Asgard' is the first in a series of short films to be produced by An Phoblacht and presented by Sinn Féin Councillor Mícheál Mac Donncha under the title of 'Roads To Revolution 1916' - marking events leading up to the 1916 Rising.

This first episode deals with the landing of the Asgard in Howth in July 1914 with a cargo of guns for the Irish Volunteers.
