Petition – 'RTÉ, break your silence on Palestine'

PALESTINE SUPPORTERS are being asked by the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign to sign a petition calling on RTÉ, as Ireland’s national broadcaster, to break its silence on Israeli aggression.

The IPSC says RTÉ should be reporting “on the huge violation of human rights norms and international law that Israel is conducting in the occupied West Bank right now”.

Instead, the IPSC says:

“RTÉ has been silent over the past ten days, despite the mass Israeli collective punishment of the Palestinian people taking place, ostensibly as part of a search for three missing Israeli teenage illegal settlers who are presumed kidnapped.

“This collective punishment, which has seen a further 400 Palestinians arrested, at least four people killed and many others injured, vast property destruction and theft, is illegal under international law.”

As well as the petition, supporters are encouraged to go one step further and share the petition along with a comment on Twitter encouraging friends to sign too.

You can sign the petition here.
