The emphasis on the front page and editorial inside is again on unity, in the wake of Redmond foisting his 25 nominees on the Provisional Committee. In this and previous issues the need to overturn the British government Proclamation banning the import of arms is stressed. The Bodenstown commemoration is reported, noting the presence of Jim Larkin and the Irish Citizen Army, along with the Irish Volunteers. Tom Clarke chaired the event.
