Anti-racist mural hits back in racism row
MURALISTS Danny Devenny and Marty Lyons meet with some tourists from China and visitors from Wexford who stop to admire their latest contribution to political debate in the North.
Their latest mural on Belfast’s International Wall comments on the recent anti-Islam diatribe of Christian fundamentalist Pastor James McConnell and First Minister Peter Robinson’s remarks effectively endorsing the fundamentalist preacher’s assertion that Islam is “satanic” when Robinson stated he ‘wouldn’t trust’ Muslims.
