Video: 'Richie Rich' banker (€843k a year) grilled by Pearse Doherty
BANK OF IRELAND CEO Richie Boucher faced a grilling from Sinn Féin's Pearse Doherty during his appearance in front of the Oireachtas Finance Committee on Thursday.
The Donegal TD confronted Boucher over his bank's policy on home repossessions and debt write-offs. He also questioned Boucher's massive €843,000 salary package - reminding the CEO that it was taxpayers money which was used to keep the bank afloat.
