Video: Rehab CEO grilled by Mary Lou McDonald at Public Accounts Committee

Angela Kerins also refused to explain why she got a pay hike when her staff were taking wage cuts.

REHAB CEO Angela Kerins has refused to reveal more details about her mega-salary and expense account to a hearing of the Public Accounts Committee on Thursday despite the Rehab charity group receiving €83million in public funding.

Under fierce questioning from Sinn Féin's Mary Lou McDonald, the Rehab boss defended her €240,000-a-year salary and claimed she should actually be getting paid 20% more.

Mary Lou McDonald also said it did not seem in keeping with the ethos of the charity sector that Anegla Kerins was better paid than the Taoiseach or the US President.

Angela Kerins also refused to explain why she got a pay hike when her staff were taking wage cuts.
