A SINN FÉIN councillor in Waterford says no amount of intimidation will stop him from challenging criminality after his car was the target of a petrol bomb attack on Tuesday night.

"In recent weeks I have been encouraging people to be brave in standing up to criminal elements in this community.

“The only way to stop these people is to co-operate with the gardaí despite threats and intimidation.

“No amount of intimidation will stop me from challenging criminality in my community."
