1913-2013 – Dún Laoghaire 1913 Lockout Commemoration Weekend

THE Dún Laoghaire 1913 Commemorative Committee is a voluntary committee made up of trade union members as well as local historians and interested individuals who want to commemorate Dún Laoghaire’s association with the Dublin Lockout in this the centenary year.

They have a great weekend of events lined up for 22 to 25 August.

There is also an exhibition in The National Maritime Museum, ‘Dun Laoghaire and the 1913 Lockout’ which will commence on 23 August and run until 18 January 2014.
