DUP Councillor Ruth Patterson charged over Facebook post

DUP COUNCILLOR Ruth Patterson has been charged by the PSNI with sending a "grossly offensive communication" after being arrested on Friday following her comments on Facebook about a planned Sinn Féin parade in Castlederg for Tyrone Volunteers Day, on 11 August.
The former Deputy Mayor of Belfast is due to appear in court to answer the charge on 22 August.
