Dublin's Basque Solidarity Week 2013 starts Saturday (2nd to 10th March)

DUBLIN'S 7th annual Basque Solidarity Week starts on Saturday 2 March and runs to Sunday 10 March.

The week is organised by the Dublin Basque Solidarity Committee and the Basque internationalist Askapena organisation.

Askapena says a main theme of the week, which will be replicated in cities and towns across the globe, will be calling for the release of the hundreds of Basque political prisoners currently held in Spanish and French prisons.

Keep an eye on the Dublin Basque Solidarity Committee's Facebook page for more events and updates here.
