Dublin event to mark 75th anniversary bombing of Gernika

AN EVENT to mark the 75th anniversary bombing of Gernika by fascist forces during the Spanish Civil War is being held by the Dublin Basque Solidarity Committee in The Teachers’ Club at 36 Parnell Square on Friday 27April from 7pm.
The event will have speakers, live music, stalls and some Basque snacks for sale. Entry is free.
The night also includes two speakers well-versed in the history of the era, Enda McGarry and Harry Owens.
