Youth organisation releases online tool to find support services more easily

The ‘Find Help’ tool can be installed on any other website and used from there at no cost

ALL-IRELAND youth organisation SpunOut today unveiled their new ‘Find Help’ tool on their website which will help thousands of young people
access information on support services around Ireland.

The search and support tool can also be installed on any other website that wants to use it, greatly extending the reach of this support tool.
SpunOut is a non-profit youth organisation that provides information and support to over 550,000 young people in Ireland each year.
SpunOut has built a platform that allows this tool to be installed on any other website and used from there. There is no cost to install this widget and use the information.

Marie Duffy, Editor of SpunOut, said:

“One of the barriers to many people seeking help is the lack of information about the services available to them. Our ‘Find Help’ information will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and we hope that this will enable young people to find help and support when they need it.”

She added:

“We also know how important it is for young people, particularly those in a crisis, to be able to find this information in a quick accessible way.

“We’ve tried to make this as simple as possible by allowing people to input their location, and find out exactly what services are available to them in their own locality.”

Jason Coomey, SpunOut’s website developer, said:

“Any person with a blog or website can use it at no cost, and any organisation can submit their information to our database for free.”
