Shock at Correy's death
Correy, who would have turned 13 next week, collapsed as he played in the park and died.
His death caused shock among his family and friends, some of whom paid tribute to him at the vigil which was held on Friday 28 May.
Among those who were present was the MP for the area, Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams.
West Belfast Sinn Féin Councillor Janice Austin told An Phoblacht, “the vigil was organised by the Turf Lodge Residents Association in conjunction with youth providers and community organisations from the Upper Springfield area to show solidarity and sympathy to the entire Wisdom family.
“The entire West Belfast community is shocked to learn of the death of a young boy of 12 years of age who died suddenly and I am appealing for people to pay their respects to the family circle of Corry, and to show support to his friends who will all need whatever help we may give them in the coming days".
The cause of Correy’s death has yet to be established.
