Cathal Donnelly gets ‘The Shinner Shave’

THE Colm Dalton cumann of Sinn Féin in NUI Maynooth has raised the impressive sum of €1,071.45 for Concern’s Haiti disaster fund at a function in County Kildare.
The decision was made to amalgamate the annual function before Easter Week with an event that could make a difference, thus the ‘The Shinner Shave’ was born with beards decimated, long hair being shaved and legs and chests waxed, as well as music and entertainment provided.
NUIM member Cathal Donnelly said he was glad that the event went succesfully, that everyone enjoyed the evening, and hoped that the money raised could help the people of Haiti to some extent. He also thanked all those who had helped in ‘The Shinner Shave’, especially all participants who are now feeling the cold a bit more!
