Armagh councillors slam RUC
Sinn Féin councillors Sean McGirr and Noel Sheridan from Armagh City have accused the RUC of terrorising school children and assaulting two people in the city over the last few days.
During a primary school sports day a group of RUC carrying assault rifles ``stormed through the Athletics ground where the event was taking place and right through the field the children were using''.
The RUC squad then went to Drumarg estate where they manhandled a youth, they screwed his arms up his back and bundled him into a car.
According to the two Sinn Féin representatives the RUC, ``battered a man in the same estate earlier in the week, in front of his children''.
