Bhí slua mór i gCill Floinn ar an Domhnach, 28 Feabhra ag comóradh na bhfir a fuair bás i mBaile Shíoda in aice le Trá Lí i mí an Mhárta 1923.
Ba é Morgan O’Flaherty cathaoirleach an chomóraidh agus dúirt sé go raibh sé soiléir go raibh ainmneacha na fir fós go láidir in aigne na ndaoine.  Ba é Martin Ferris príomhchainteoir an lae agus dúirt sé go raibh codarsnacht láidir idir crógacht na fir seo agus cladhaireacht na ndaoine a dhúnmharaigh iad.
O’Flaherty said that the presence of such a large number was testimony to the esteem in which the memories of these men are still held. Martin Ferris said that the bravery of these men contrasted with the cowardly brutality of those who engaged in such atrocities during the Civil War.
He called on all present to ensure that the objectives of these men will be achieved and that we will see an Ireland free from partition and inequality.  The commemoration ended with the playing of Amhrán na bhFian by the Ballyseedy Martyrs’ Band.
