Fermanagh co-option agreed

SINN FÉIN Fermanagh Council Group Leader Cllr Thomas O’Reilly has congratulated Phil Flanagan after he was co-opted onto the Council to replace Domhnaill O Cobhthaigh who resigned from the council recently.
Phil Flanagan, whose family is from the area originally, is married and runs a small business.
Cllr O’Reilly said:
“I want to congratulate Phil and welcome him to the Sinn Féin team on Fermanagh District Council.
“The council is facing many challenges just as local people are and I know that Phil will be a great addition to our team as we look towards the future not just for Sinn Féin but also for Fermanagh.”
The new Erne West Councillor, Cllr Flanagan said:
“This is a great area with great people and I hope that along with our local activists I can make a difference. I am very proud to represent Sinn Féin in this part of Fermanagh. I think I have a good idea of the problems that the people of the area experience. Farmers and small business people are under enormous pressure at the moment and I will do everything I can to help them and all the people of this area.”
