CLEARY, Peter (South Armagh Brigade). In proud and loving memory of Volunteer Peter Cleary, Staff Captain, 1st Battalion, South Armagh Brigade, Óglaigh na hÉireann who was murdered by SAS cowards under cover of darkness on 15 April 1975. “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” – Nelson Mandela. Always remembered with love and pride by his comrades in the Bennett/Boyle/Cleary/Toner Cumman Belleek/Whitecross.
MARLEY, Larry. In proud and loving memory of my friend and comrade Volunteer Larry Marley 3rd Battalion, Belfast Brigade, Óglaigh na hÉireann, assassinated by pro-British death squads on 2 April 1987. “Life springs from death and from the graves of patriot men and women spring living nations”.
