Internal Conference - Regaining Political Momentum: The Next Phase
Adams to address weekend activists’ forum
AN IMPORTANT internal conference for Sinn Féin members takes place in Dublin this Saturday on the exciting new opportunities opening up for republicans in the North and the South, particularly after the ‘No to Lisbon Treaty’ success.
‘Regaining Political Momentum: The Next Phase’ takes place at the Radisson Hotel, beside Dublin Airport, and will be opened by Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams MP at 11:45am.
All activists – particularly party members from the South – are being urged by General Secretary Rita O’Hare to attend.
The Clár covers:-
• New Phases – North and South
• The Lisbon Campaign
• Strategy and Campaigns
• Organisation and Party Building
Contributions from the floor will be encouraged.
Rita O’Hare says:
“It has been acknowledged by all sides that Sinn Féin ran a very effective and coherent campaign and we need to learn the lessons from that while they’re still fresh in people’s minds.
“We need to build on that momentum. We need to continue to show that Sinn Féin is a very real political alternative.”
The meeting is scheduled to close at 5pm.
