MacManus denies resignation rumours

Sligo Sinn Féin Councillor, Sean Mac Manus, has dismissed speculation that he is about to resign from the party.
A report in last weekend’s Sunday Independent claimed Councillor MacManus was about to defect from the party.
However, speaking on local radio on Monday Councillor Mac Manus dismissed the speculation and said that he was totally unaware of any such developments.
Sean Mac Manus has been one of the leading influences within Sinn Féin both at regional and national level over the past 15 years.
