Macalla na mBan Echoes

A reflective garden in honour of the many women who have dedicated their lives to the struggle for freedom has been built on the site at the Roddy McCorley Club, Gen Road,  Belfast. The project was launched earlier by a group of republican women under the name Macalla na mBan – meaning Echoes of Women. To mark the opening of the garden there will be a gathering at the Roddys at 6pm Thursday 3 May. Speakers will include Marie Moore and Gerry Adams.
