Our interview with 'IRA icon' makes news headlines
AN PHOBLACHT'S interview in the July issue with leading republican Bobby Storey has made news in the mainstream media, particularly after disturbances in Belfast and elsewhere orchestrated by opponents of the Peace Process.
This week, as well as the disturbances centred around the Twelfth of July Orange Order parade in Ardoyne, these attacks included the attempted burning of the Belfast to Dublin Enterprise express train during which travellers feared they would be burned alive as masked gangs stormed the train and soaked scouts' rucksacks in petrol before coming to their senses.
Bobby Storey's interview can be read in full here.
The Belfast Telegraph report, by Brian Rowan, is headlined "IRA icon Storey squares up to ‘road to nowhere’ dissidents".
