Easter commemorations
The deadline for Easter commemoration notices is 12pm on Monday 10 April 2006. In order to be included notices must be received by post, email or fax at our Dublin or Belfast offices before the deadline.

EVENT: Volunteer Gerard Casey Commemorative weekend. Óglach Gerard Casey Memorial Talk: The 1981 Hunger Strike by ex-Blanketmen Paul McGlinchey and Benny Lynch in Seán Óg's, Rasharkin, County Antrim on Friday 31 March. Doors open at 7.30pm.
COMMEMORATION: The annual Volunteer Gerard Casey Commemoration will take place on Sunday 2 April in St Mary's graveyard, Rasharkin. Assemble 2.30pm. Main speaker Gerry Kelly.

Ar an Phlúid, (On The Blanket) tells the story of the Blanket protest from the perspective of one man - Kieran Nugent, the first H-Block prisoner to refuse to wear a prison uniform after the ending of political status in March 1976.

• OTHER
H-BLOCK MEDALLIONS: For the 25th anniversary of the Hunger Strikes. A special edition set of bronze medallions has been commissioned. Costing £250, the medallions depict the ten H-Block Hunger Strikers. The first set of the medallions are being balloted and the tickets are available through the Art shop.
